Every time you request a pilot for aerial photography you have to consider FAA procedures and limitations, gas expenses, airport expenses, and more. With an UAVP there is no need for an airport or gas. Full size aircraft produce thousands of pounds of CO2 and green house gasses each time they fly and are subject to airport delays. That is not the case with an UAVP.

Instant Results

There is no waiting to view what images or videos have been taken. Once the UAVP lands the information is instant. The downside with using a fixed wing or helicopter is the fact that the media is not instant and there is generally a significant wait time compared to an UAVP.

FAA Regulations
